The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle

The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle

This book was 24 pages and again is a Sherlock Holmes story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
This story was about a missing "blue carbuncle" that someone stole and put it in a good.  The  goose was sold and person who bought the goose was surprised that it was in there.  This was a very different mystery.

The Man with the Twisted Lip

The Man with the Twisted Lip

This book was 24 pages and another Sherlock Holmes story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
A man was disguised as a beggar and the "beggar" was accused of murdering this man.  Of course they were the same man so Sherlock Holmes not knowing it was the same man concluded in the end that they were. So he went to the jail sell and scrubbed at the face of the man.  The case ended happily.

A Study in Scarlet, Part 2

A Study in Scarlet
Part 2

First edition in annual cover 1887

Sherlock Holmes is an intelligent and bold person.  He almost solved this mystery, by going to the scene of the crime.  He used measurements and weird contortions to almost solve the mystery.  When a second crime was committed he figured out that they were connected and that both men almost died of poison.  He came up with a smart con to trap the murderer.Sherlock Holmes is a "smart cookie".

A Scandal in Bohemia

A Scandal In Bohemia

Again this is a Sir Arthur Conan Doyle book but this a short story so it is only 24 pages.  Again thrilling but not as much because it was so so so so so short.  This book belongs to a full volume called The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes just to let you know.

A Study in Scarlet

This book was 120 pages.

A Study in Scarlet

A Study in Scarlet by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle takes place in 1878 London, England. There, Dr. Watson and Sherlock Holmes solve the mystery of a murder that was committed in an abandoned house. They travel all through London to find the assassin, but with Sherlock Holmes, it is not that hard to track him or her down. Right in the middle of the search for the culprit a second murder has occurred. The two murders were connected! Of course, Sherlock Holmes had already figured it out so he planned a perfect con to capture him.

"My Song"

Come To Me (Fantine's Death) from Les Miserables reminds of my protective mom who cares for me and would want me safe if anything should happen to her.  Also it reminds me of my deceased grandpa's who loved me.  This song reminds me to be thankful I have a house, food, and most importantly a family.
